HOTEL DIAMOND : THE SPECIAL MENU

It was a tiresome day at the office. Ankit was returning from his newly joined office but to his sheer bad luck he found the main road full of traffic …. “So much traffic that’s too in this winter night ….”-he wondered. It was 9pm by his watch, soon he discovered that a bolero had hit down a scooter and two people died instantly. Cursing his fate he turned the bike and planned to go through the canal route. It was a silent road surrounded by thick forests…the eerie atmosphere; the owls cry from the jungle, the sparkling green eyes of the jackal which just crossed the road, the cold shivering winds all made Ankit a little uncomfortable. He accelerated his bike and tried to reach his home as quickly as possible.
His bike was speeding down the route when suddenly a well lighted building, yet far from him, caught his eyes. He got his lost courage back and went in its direction. Soon he found that the building was a hotel with scanty people around it. 3bikes were parked along with 1 Tata sumo. The hotel was a 2 storied one with a signboard in which it was written HOTEL DIAMOND, focused by a mystic blue light. Ankit was hungry and so decided to eat his dinner in this hotel. As he opened the door he was warmly greeted by soft music playing in the hotel, he entered and found a cozy seat for him. He gasped through the red painted walls, the large Italian gothic statue, the leather tiger heads hanging from the walls…  all giving a horror appearance…. “What would you like to eat sir? ”- a lady may be aged around thirties , wearing a silk pure white saree purely contrasted with red lipstick , asked him gently with a mesmerizing smile on her face.
Ankit went through the menu card and ordered chicken biriyani. The lady, also the owner of the hotel, gently nodded her head and asked “ please don’t mind sir, why don’t you try our SPECIAL MENU? Its limited only once in a week and I can guarantee you will appreciate the dish..it will take you to another world..”.
“What’s there in the dish?”- countered questioned Ankit.
“Fried rice and flesh of an animal”-she replied
“You mean chicken?”- Ankit questioned…. “Ha ha.. no sir its neither chicken, nor meat not pork either….this animal is seen all around us , from the beginning of the Earth yet very few tasted it….sir , believe me.. I won’t disappoint you”- the lady smiled. Ankit was totally melted by the longing eyes of the lady….he approved the dish and ordered it. The lady turned his face around and saw the cook standing by the kitchen…her eyesight was enough..The cook nodded his head as if he understood what was ordered! Such is the power of her silence!!!... After 5 mins the lady came with two dishes in her hand …the lights went off automatically …
Ankit was a bit upset, but when he saw the beautiful fair white toned hands with black nail polish lighting the candle his mood totally changed. He was sweating even in this cold foggy night …it was ankit’s candle dinner for the first time. “Eat it…it’s all yours”-there was a sense of appeal in her voice. Ankit couldn’t stop staring at her even while eating the meal.. But to his surprise the food was tastier than expected….it was simply awesome. He couldn’t stop liking his fingers and praising the meal several times. But what flesh was that? This question lingered in his mind several times...Duck, tortoise or some other creature? So tender, fleshy …yet properly fried… Ankit now directly questioned to her about the ingredients offered to him... “You have to tell me mam which flesh was it….Please…I promise I won’t disclose to anyone?” – He insisted.
“Well if you want to know it’s your wish …..come to the kitchen with me….only you and I”- ha ha ha , the lady laughed in a strange manner. Ankit followed her through the dark passage of the kitchen. They entered a room, so heavily chilled that it almost made ankit to shiver.. “Why so cold…I think it’s below 0 degree centigrade here??”-came a shivering question from him. She remained silent, switched on the lights. The room contained several big boxes with ice spread over it.. “Go and open the boxes and quench your thirst...”. Ankit open a box and was soon petrified…..a cool wave ran down his spines..his face became pale, totally lost control over himself…and finally screamed. In front of him lies a human body without a head, preserved nicely by ice ,  …the left leg was missing… “Ha ha you recently had that nicely baked left thigh for dinner sir”-her cruel voice echoed the room….Ankit turned back..but it was too late.
She chopped his head so nicely and delicately with a chopper as if she was the master in this job. Ankits body felled down, blood was oozing out from his headless throat, the last minute of struggle was evidenced by throwing his limbs but that too stopped after a minute.. She dipped her nice, thin, slim, nail art finger in the blood from his throat and tasted… “Perfect!!..go and prepare this body for tomorrows SPECIAL MENU …”- she smiled and  ordered the cook who was busy tearing apart his legs, hands and took out the heart from the body and put into his hungry mouth…
THE SPECIAL MENU of DIAMOND HOTEL was now revealed but only within the four walls of the hotel…….
