Penning down my thoughts
After a long three years
Trying to join the dots
Once, which were left void dear
Heard melodies are sweet
Those, unheard are sweeter
Those college classrooms still echoes
The fragrance of a chilly winter
Can you recollect the deserted bike stand?
Where I used to get my bike rested
Today also I remember you handmade Maggi which I tasted
Those evening warm bike rides you used to take,
The scribblings on my java copy you used to make
I still carry them all somewhere deep in my heart
Even today, they prick me like bullets in the dark
Standing in my balcony now, with my inquisitive mind
I just felt as if you called me from behind.
Teddy, one day you will achieve great fame
Still my heartbeats, when I take your real name
Don’t know when this pandemic will end,
May we live long to meet again….
